Technical Account Manager - Inductosense

About Us

We design and manufacture ultrasonic sensing technology to monitor corrosion which helps our customers to upgrade from manual ultrasonic inspection to digital monitoring, saving costs, reducing unplanned shutdown, and supporting customers in meeting net zero targets. Our innovative core technology (WAND) is based around patented embeddable, wireless, battery-free sensors and we have a full range of digital data collection solutions including IoT and robotics. The unique advantages of the technology also enable us to work with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to integrate our technology into products during manufacture. 

 Since we spun out of the University of Bristol in 2015, we have been on a successful journey of product development, certification and trialing the technology with major companies globally. The Inductosense WAND technology has now been approved by some of the largest companies in the world, including Saudi Aramco, and our clients are now deploying our technology at scale. As a result, we are seeing a significant growth in sales and with additional investment from Aramco Ventures earlier this year we are scaling up the team. Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our sales team and take responsibility for supporting key clients in the GCC region. This is a hands-on, dynamic role, based in Bristol, UK but with extensive opportunities to travel. The role includes: 

·      Identifying and targeting strategic business opportunities where the WAND technology can provide a solution to a customer's pain points.

·      Engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organisation.

·      Developing successful relationships with C-Suite customers as well as functional leaders.

·      Delivering technical presentations, particularly for in-person product demonstration with multiple senior stakeholders.

·      Developing and executing account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organisation.

·      Understanding technical requirements and the optimal product solution for the customer across multiple products.

·      In-depth understanding of the buyer journey and can lead a complex, multi-party sale. 

·      Developing impactful, strategic sales plans for key accounts and identifying required resources.

·      Working collaboratively with the Inductosense team and partners on pre-sales and post sales activities.

·      Focal point for the customer throughout sensor installation and post-sale support.

·      Successful close out of sensor installation projects, including writing technical reports & case studies with a clear business case, ensuring all the customer is satisfied, all feedback is recorded and actioned, and that the opportunity will progress to a repeat sale.

·      Travelling to support customers internationally on a frequent basis.

 

Profile

 The ideal candidate will have: 

·      A university degree in Engineering/Physics/Materials Science (or equivalent experience, +5 years working with in an ultrasonic NDT environment).

·      knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry.

·      an understanding of ultrasonic non-destructive testing.

·      experience in a sales/customer facing role.

·      excellent interpersonal and communication skill.

·      experience of producing technical reports.

·      knowledge of business development/sales methodologies.

·      have the right to work in the UK and be able to commute to Bristol.

·      no restrictions with regards to travel to the GCC.

·      knowledge of doing business in the GCC region.
