ICorr Wales and South West September 2024 Event
Erik Fabre, head of R&D projects here at Inductosense, has been invited to speak at the 'ICorr Wales and South West, September 2024'event. He will deliver his talk on a "A Pathway To Thickness Measurement Locations (TMLs) Digitalisation" at Mott MacDonald’s office in Bristol on Thursday, 19th September.
A Pathway To Thickness Measurement Locations (TMLs) Digitalisaiton.
This presentation explains how permanently installed sensors deliver more accurate results than traditional manual UT inspections due to their consistent positioning and coupling. With hundreds of thousands of thickness measurement locations (TMLs) on site, it's challenging to monitor them all. Usually due to cost, permanently installed ultrasonic sensors are mainly used for monitoring critical areas for corrosion rate estimation, with operators using more conventional UT methods for lower risk and lower frequency TML's. Inductosense offers a cost-effective solution that enables permanently installed ultrasonic sensors to be deployed at scale across an asset.
This presentation will also show how our range of data-collectors, from handheld to online and robotic solutions, work together to optimise data capture across an asset, improving accessibility and inspection frequency.
